Senior Technical Project Manager, Defence

Join our defence and national security business and you’ll be helping users plan and train to meet the most complex security threats in the world. Working alongside experts in AI and Machine Learning, computational modelling and distributed systems, you’ll be putting multiplayer technology to life-saving use.
Your mission is to deliver predictable, efficient and successful customer-facing project, programme and portfolio management in line with the Defence Division business strategy.
Areas for Impact
- This role will own the delivery of agile software development activities and other project deliverables within Improbable’s Defence Division. You will guide the project team to deliver proof of concept and experiment project success and ensure we deliver contractual performance that exceeds expectations
- You will own the planning and delivery of short term projects supporting customer aims to experiment with new concepts and ideas. You will help shape and guide the team for overall project success and ensure we deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
- You will conscientiously lead projects, focussing not only on delivery quality but also building processes and guidance thereby increasing our business capability.
- You will lead efforts to accurately scope and plan projects respecting our uniquely agile approach, with a wider appreciation of both the product roadmap and future commercial opportunities. In doing so you will identify opportunities to improve PM methods, tools and processes.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to meet the security and clearance requirements to work with material under the The Five Eyes (FVEY) regime. This will include nationality requirements, and if you are a UK national, an unbroken residency in the UK for the previous 5 years.
